My favourite puzzles seem to vary from month to month! At one time I used only to do sudoku but I seem to be getting more adventurous in my old age (Well, middle age!) and am trying out all sorts of new varieties I wouldn't have tried before. I've recently come across labyrinth puzzles and love them. They say they use the same techniques as hanjie (I've only every done really simple ones of those) but I think they are a little easier. They are not particularly easy to come by though, so if anyone knows of a source please let me know!

Labyrinth... I don't think I know what they are. But it sounds like it is something to do with a maze, is it a hanjie puzzle where you make a maze instead of a picture or something? | |

Hi Gemma, labyrinth puzzles are similar to hanjie in that they have numbers on the outside of the grid, but instead of telling you which cells to fill in to create a picture, they tell you the length of hedges on that line which when all filled in create a maze. Quite good fun once you get the hang of them. I don't know whether you've ever bought Beyond Sudoku magazine - there are usually a few in there.
