Lexica Puzzle...

I am not really one for getting a daily newspaper at the moment. However I picked up a copy of the Times the other day, and came across a puzzle type I've not seen before called a Lexica puzzle.

It was a small word puzzle where you had to work out the placements of the letters to form a mini word grid.

Has anyone else come across it and if so what did you think of it? I thought it was OK as far as it goes but was not particularly blown away by it or anything!
