Subscribing to a Puzzle Magazine...

We've had a couple of enquiries as to whether it is possible to subscribe to a magazine now that there are second issues of some of the magazines starting to appear.

The answer is that currently we don't have this feature... however if you would like it or would be interested in this facility, please do let us know either by email or by posting here: would monthly, bimonthly or some other frequency be best? And which puzzle types would be best suited to a puzzle magazine that you'd consider subscribing to?

I would definitely subscribe if there were to be a Variants magazine - it wouldn't necessarily have to be all sudoku variants. There are so few decent japanese puzzle magazines out there on the market which publish anything other than standard sudoku, killer suduko, kakuro or futoshiki that a magazine with several different puzzle types would be great. These puzzle types could even vary a little from issue to issue, to keep the magazine fresh. Monthly or bi-monthly would be fine by me, I expect that would depend upon demand. Sounds a great idea to have something issued regularly.

That sounds like a good idea to me too, but I do wonder whether you'll be able to find the demand (sadly) - clearly from the fact, often commented on here, that the shops literally only sell crosswords, wordsearch, arrow words, criss cross and sudoku titles then it seems no-one thinks there is enough demand for anything else

I would be interested in subscribing to a large sudoku magazine - perhaps you could have one that combines from 12x12 up to 25x25.

That said it would have to be bi-monthly or perhaps best of all quarterly, because they take some time to solve so monthly would be too frequent for instance.

However if that is not possible perhaps people who are interested could sign up to a very simple mailing list and be notified when new issues of publications are created?
